Fit guide
Will it fit my car?
Two minutes with a tape measure saves a return. Here's what to check.
1. Measure your back seat
Measure the width of the seat cushion from door to door, and the height of the seatback from the cushion to the top of the headrests.
| Cover | Size (flat) | Fits back seats up to |
|---|---|---|
| Backseat Hammock | About 54 × 58 in (137 × 147 cm) | About 54 in wide, door to door: most mid-size cars, SUVs and pickups |
2. Check the headrests
The hammock hangs from straps that buckle around the front-seat and back-seat headrests. Cars without adjustable rear headrests can still use the cover, but the back straps need another anchor point, such as the cargo hooks behind the seat.
3. Seat belts and child seats
Hook-and-loop openings let you reach the seat belt buckles through the cover. Don't install a child car seat on top of any seat cover: car-seat makers ask for it to sit directly on the vehicle seat.
4. Side airbags and heated seats
Our covers go on the back seat only. Never put a cover over a seat with side airbags built into the seat itself, and don't leave heated seats running under a cover.
5. Sizing the No-Pull Harness
Measure around the widest part of your dog's chest, just behind the front legs.
| Size | Chest girth |
|---|---|
| Small | 18–25 in |
| Medium | 22–29 in |
| Large | 26–35 in |
| XL | 30–41 in |
Between sizes? Take the larger one and tighten the straps. You should be able to slide two fingers under any strap.
